ERP for Construction & EPC

Site-wise projects, procurement and subcontractor control.

A construction or EPC company is really several small businesses running at once — one per site — each with its own budget, vendors, material and people. The danger is not a single big mistake; it is many small leaks nobody sees until the project closes. Viamione keeps every project’s purchases, material movement, expenses, staff and billing together, so you can see site-wise profit while there is still time to change course.

The challenge

Multiple sites, material leakage, delayed approvals and cost overruns that surface far too late.

How Viamione helps

Projects carry their own budgets, purchase approvals and expenses; materials are issued from site warehouses and every rupee rolls up per project.

Your day-to-day

Sound familiar?

These are the things business owners in this industry tell us. Here is what changes.

“We find out a site has gone over budget when the project is almost over.”

How Viamione helps

Each project carries a budget. Purchases, expenses and payroll are booked against it as they happen, so you compare planned and actual cost every week — not at closing.

“Material leaves the store and nobody can say where it went.”

How Viamione helps

Material is received into a central store and issued or transferred to site warehouses. Every movement records who moved what, from where to where, so the balance on each site is always known.

“Approvals take days, so people buy first and ask later.”

How Viamione helps

Purchase orders follow approval limits you set, and vendor bills move through four approval stages before they can be paid. Spending without sign-off simply cannot reach payment.

“Contractor and subcontractor payments are a tangle.”

How Viamione helps

Every contractor is a vendor with their own ledger of orders, bills and payments. You can see exactly what has been billed, approved, paid and still owed — per contractor and per project.

A typical flow

How work flows in Construction & EPC

  1. 1

    Estimate and set the budget

The sales engineer prepares a proposal from your item and rate master. When it is accepted, a project is created with milestones and a budget, so cost control starts on day one and not after the first invoice.

  2. 2

    Procure with approvals

The purchaser raises purchase orders to approved vendors at agreed rates. Anything above a limit waits for the right approver, so the owner sees commitments before money leaves.

  3. 3

    Receive and issue to site

Material arrives at the central store and is received against the order. It is then issued or transferred to the site warehouse, where the site engineer can see what is available.

  4. 4

    Track the real cost

Vendor bills, site expenses, fuel and payroll are all booked to the project. A single screen shows budget, spend so far and what is still committed.

  5. 5

    Bill the milestone

When a milestone is reached, accounts raise the GST invoice, record the customer’s payment and follow up on what is overdue. Retention and part-payments are tracked against the same project.

FAQ

Construction & EPC: common questions

Can each site have its own warehouse and stock?

Yes. Inventory is multi-warehouse, so a central store and any number of site stores can each hold stock, with transfers between them recorded.

Can I control who is allowed to approve purchases?

Yes. Purchase orders follow approval limits, and purchase invoices pass through a four-stage approval workflow before payment.

Can site payroll be handled here too?

Yes. The HR module covers attendance, leave and payroll with statutory deductions, and employees can be assigned across branches and shops.
