Point of sale

The counter never stops selling.

Viamione’s POS reads and writes to a local database, queues every change and syncs in the background — so an internet outage is an inconvenience, not a lost sale.

Offline-first

The counter never stops selling.

Apps read and write to a local database, queue every change and sync in the background with delta transfer, retry-with-backoff and CRDT conflict resolution. No “sync” button.

  • Web PWA (IndexedDB) and React Native mobile (SQLite)

FAQ

Offline POS: common questions

What happens during an outage?

The POS keeps working from its local database, queues all changes and syncs automatically when the network returns.

What databases are used on the device?

WatermelonDB (SQLite) on mobile and IndexedDB on the web.

Is sync safe if it is interrupted?

Yes. Push and pull endpoints are idempotent, so duplicate pushes are safe and retries are expected.

Which plan includes POS?

POS and the Online Shop are included in the Enterprise plan.
